Screenshots of new reports published in Google Search Console
SEO expert Glenn Gabe shared screenshots of new reports which are available in the beta version of Google Search Console.
One of the most disturbing features for webmasters was the appearance of the filter “Indexed, low interest” in the report Index Coverage Status. Google engineer Pierre Far stated that in order to understand and not to worry you need read the article in the Help. This filter shows those pages that have been indexed, but rarely appear in Google search results. According to Glenn Gabe low-quality pages may be into this section.
The “Duplicate page without canonical tag” filter will show pages that have duplicates, and none of which is marked as a canonical version. The “Submitted URL, marked “noindexed” filter will show those pages that are contained in the XML Sitemap, but have not been indexed. The “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap” filter will show those pages that have been indexed, but not contained in the XML Sitemap. The “Submitted and Indexed” filter will show those pages that are contained in the XML Sitemap and have been indexed.
