Google declared that the Safe Browsing technology defends more than 3 billion devices. This technology affords a list of URLs that includes malicious software or phishing content for the Chrome, Firefox and Safari browsers.

The developers of Safe Browsing take into account such limitations as the slow speed of the connection, the high cost of mobile data and the limited capacity of the battery. Therefore, the technology sends the device only the most important information with maximum compression. 

Moreover, Safe Browsing uses machine learning. It is identifies different threats. Google noted that the service is focused on “AI-first world”.
